Lokah Samasta Sukhino Bhavantu

May all beings everywhere
• Have ease and the causes of ease
• Have peace and the causes of peace
• Be well in both body and mind
• To each other be good and kind
Lokah = locations everywhere, the world
Samasta = with equanimaty, equality to all
Sukhino = ease, freedom from suffering
Bhavantu = let it be established
When we sing and meditate with intention to honor and respect all beings, we ourselves benefit in the process. Our physical health and well being is enhanced by reducing the stress response and encouraging harmony within ourselves. When we are good and kind to ourselves in a nurturing and unselfish way, it prepares the way for us to extend that same energy to others.
